I’m going to talk about my sister Ashley Danielle Campion. She was born on February 24th, 1994 in Souris Hospital.

Ashley’s favorite color is blue and her favorite patterns are plaid and argyle.

Her favorite sports are softball, curling, badminton, and volleyball. She does good in her sports. Here are some stories….

In volleyball she played on the girls Varsity Girls Volleyball at school, but she broke her leg after 2 tournaments, so for the rest of the season she score kept or refereed the games. She did end up playing in Provincials. She never got to play a lot but she still played.

In softball last year she played in the Manitoba Power Sport Games in Carmen on Team Westman. The team consisted of four Virden girls (including Ashley). They won all of their games by either a lot or really close. The semi final game was the worst. It had everyone on their seats for the last 2 innings. They had to go into extra inning twice….I think? But my favorite game was the final game. 1 extra inning, tied up, next run wins it. Britney Scott from Brandon comes running home. Next thing we see is the dust. Next thing we hear is SAFE. Every girl on the Westman team and the coaches came running out of the dug out and there was a group hug on home base. There was cheering and screaming and camera flashes. I ran out to get pictures for my grandma. After about 10 minutes of screaming and cheering they lined up to get there medals. They gave the other team there silver medals and then they all went around to team westman and gave them high fives. Then it was Westmans turn to get there medals. They started off shook hands with the other team. They lined up and got pictures taken with there medals. After that they got to get pictures with a famous fastball player. Then they left to get changed then there was the closing ceremonies. Finally it was time to go home.

Ashley also likes to play badminton. This year she didn’t make it past divisionals. This year she was with Tyson Anderson. She plays mixed doubles.

Ashley also likes curling. I hate it, but she loves it. She plays in as many bonspiels as she can. She also played in school curling and the school curling team for Zones. She’s good at it too….I guess.

Ashley is also involved in many other clubs like the Pipestone 4-H Beef Club. This year she has a heifer and a steer. She was going to take a cow/calf pair but she can’t now because her cow’s calf died because she had it in a snow bank.

That’s pretty much how Ashley’s life is going. She is a better sister than Jaimie will ever be. She can keep a promise……most of the time. The funny thing is that I’m almost taller than her. She’s 15 years old. This coming fall she is going for her leaner’s license. Now that’s the end of my story….THE END!!!
